		<description>Hey there:

A truly fun idea for a blog. It&#039;s a great way to show how strange we are and how spoiled we are within the freedoms of democracy.

I have found a couple of strange petitions myself lately:

1. A couple of young New Zealand women would like to meet Eninem, so they are requesting we bring Eminem to New Zealand.
http://www.petitiononline.com/eminem1/petition.html

&quot;Eminem is music.... he is a musical genius and prodigy as his music comes from the soul not just the mainstream crap you see everywhere nowadays… &quot;

Wait, Eminem does NOT equal &quot;mainstream crap&quot;? I would love to switch mainstream crap with New Zealanders (Split Enz, Neil Finn, etc.). Apparently, I was mistaken to think &quot;Love The Way You Lie&quot; being played every hour on the hour makes that mainstream garbage.

I think we could make an arrangement. We would be happy to send you Eminem to New Zealand as long as you all agree not to send him back to the U.S.

2. A petition to Number 10 Downing Street over a BBC TV program.

http://www.petitiononline.com/bbcbias1/petition.html

&quot;We request a Public Inquiry into the British Broadcasting Corporation’s Panorama programme Death in the Med, aired BBC 1 on Monday 16th Aug 2010.

Documentaries should be truthful and informative and expand our understanding of situations and events.We are appalled by the blatant misrepresentation of facts broadcast within this programme. &quot;

I remember learning about documentaries in film class, and I was under the impression that they are to have a bias, since they are made by people. People all have their own viewpoints and ways of looking at the world.

I really hope that the British Prime Minister has too much to do and not have to deal with the 260 people who need to learn that not everything they see on the TV is factual.

I wish you well and hope you are able to get a few more petition entries out there for people to read.

Peace &amp; Take care,
